Learn a variety of bag-making techniques to start your bag-making journey off right!
Class Description
New to bag-making? Using the ByAnnie Basics series of patterns, this class will teach you a variety of bag-making techniques and skills. We will be constructing four different patterns - Petit Four Basket, Piecekeeper, Call Me & Easy Does It. You will go home with a cute fabric basket, a project bag, a name tag/cell phone holder, and a boxy pouch. Each patterns’ techniques will build on the previous pattern and provide a great base for future bag-making adventures, especially other popular ByAnnie patterns! Students will purchase their own fabric, zippers & thread. You will need a mix of coordinating fabrics, approximately 4.25 yds total, 3 zippers, and matching thread for all four projects. Notions and other materials needed can be purchased separately, or choose from available finishing kit options. The finishing kit will provide you with just what you need for the projects, without leftovers. A supply list for the class will be sent when you register, identifying everything needed for each project.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Payment is due when classes are reserved. Class reservations are not refundable. However, with at least 7 calendar days notice, fees may be applied to a different class or private lesson. Fees for cancellations with less than 7 calendar days notice will be forfeit, unless the class slot can be filled from a waitlist; your fees may then be transferred to a different class or lesson. Classes cancelled by Discovery Sewing Studio for any reason will receive a full refund, if desired, or may be applied to a different class or lesson.
