Quilting (Art) as Protest
Quilting is art, and art is often used to express emotion. If the chaos of our world today has your emotions all over the place, I often feel the same way. While quilting is usually my happy place, sometimes my quilting helps me to process some of those feelings. I try to use that energy to put something good out into the world, making quilts or other items that can be donated. But sometimes, I just need to create something that expresses where I stand on issues that are important to me.
