Sewing Machine 101 - Adults
Learn the ins & outs of a sewing machine!
Class Description
Are you starting from scratch or need a refresher course? In this one-time class you'll learn all the details of machine operation. We will start with identifying all of the parts of the machine. Then move on to threading the machine and bobbin, changing needles and presser feet, and switching stitch length and width. If you bring your own machine (and manual), there will be time to ask questions. Equipment Needed: Bring your machine or use one of ours. If you're bringing your machine, please be sure it's in working order and bring the foot pedal, power cord, needle, an empty bobbin and manual. Materials Needed: None. This classes is for adult learners.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy: Payment is due when classes are reserved. Class reservations are not refundable. However, with at least 7 calendar days notice, fees may be applied to a different class or private lesson. Fees for cancellations with less than 7 calendar days notice will be forfeit, unless the class slot can be filled from a waitlist; your fees may then be transferred to a different class or lesson. Classes cancelled by Discovery Sewing Studio for any reason will receive a full refund, if desired, or may be applied to a different class or lesson.
